As a successful creative director, Paula Winicur's passion was helping people make their lives beautiful from the outside in. Today, as a Marriage & Family therapist, Paula has refocused that mission, working with clients to help them make their lives beautiful from the inside out.
Paula believes in the power of creating transformative partnerships with her clients, helping them tap into their inner strength to recognize and change unwanted patterns and areas of stuckness. Paula works with couples, individuals, and families, helping them successfully navigate life's challenges, specifically surrounding relationships (both coupling and uncoupling), co-parenting, family (including parent/child and siblings), and career issues (both career-life balance and relationships within the workplace).
Paula is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Connecticut and New York (LMFT), and holds a master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. She integrates a trauma informed approach and draws on her knowledge of neuroplasticity, mindfulness, ADHD, neurodiversity, and a myriad of couple / family therapy modalities. Paula is experienced in navigating complex relational issues (including narcissistic abuse and coercive control), and intergenerational challenges, using a systemic approach.
